I am a graduate of the Department of Mathematics, University of Patras and an MSc degree holder in “Computer Mathematics and Decision Making” from the Interdepartmental Program of Postgraduate Studies of the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics, University of Patras. In 2010 I was awarded a PhD degree by the Department of Mathematics, University of Patras.

My research interests are mainly in Decision Theory, Parametric Statistical Inference, Multivariate Analysis, Survival Analysis with Censored Data.

I have held postdoctoral appointments at the Institute of Statistics, RWTH Aachen University in Germany, as well as at the Southampton Statistical Sciences Research Institute, University of Southampton in UK. In addition, I have served as a Research Associate at the Department of Statistics and Insurance Science, University of Piraeus.

I have taught a variety of courses at the Technological Education Institute of Patras, the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics, University of Thessaly,  the Department of Mathematics, University of Patras, and the Department of Mathematics, University of Thessaly.

I have authored papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings, and have participated in international and panhellenic conferences.

I am a referee for scientific journals of the field and a reviewer for the AMS Mathematical Reviews.
